A Milestone Birthday: My Son Turns 25

In the quiet moments of each night, I find myself thinking about a little boy I often miss so deeply and the adult that has changed before me. Today, June 29th has come around once again.

As your mother, I have had the privilege of watching you grow, mature, and even make mistakes. Each milestone, each achievement, and each setback is a part of your process. Remember that it’s okay to make mistakes along the way; they are simply stepping stones on your journey.
Celebrate your accomplishments and the milestones you have already achieved. But also, set your sights on the future, for it is filled with endless possibilities. On this momentous occasion, I want you to know that I am always here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.
